All the halls need new carpeting. The t.v. room is to dark & depressing.

My room and restroom were fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a big problem. Front desk staff gave me a paper with info on area parking lots. The map would have been better if it was hand drawn with fewer streets and more info about the actual lots. For example, the paper had addresses for the lots, but the lots behind businesses and accessible from the alley. No addresses were seen. Maybe it would have been better if a new information page was created with

Stayed in a 4 bed dorm with adult family. Room was small, very basic and hot but we got used to it and it was okay if you just wanted somewhere to sleep. Free breakfast was good and kitchen facilities, washroom and internet room good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

If theft and break-ins are such a problem, why not install security cameras to deter criminals? We had someone saw through a metal Thule roof rack. It must have taken some time to do and a camera would have helped to catch the person. The inside of the hostel was great, good bkfast too.
