I wasn't around for the evening 'fun' but I stayed in the dorm style rooms that were not that great.

This place was disgusting. I was in a 20-person room and it didn't seem like they cleaned the bathroom in about a month. There were ants all over the floor, and the second night I stayed there were ants in my bed as well. I ended up checking out a day early and staying at the Super 8 next door. All I was offered after sleeping in bugs was a complaint card....no refund. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Dodge area. When we got there, we were told it's not safe to go out at night. They had a bar but I just didn't like the hostel at all. The showers were disgusting and the toilet didn't flush. It was a 20 dorm with only 1 toilet. There were some very scary people in the dorm as well. The hostel has a free shuttle to the airport which was handy. They also give you free breakfast, tea, champagne and finger food during the day but it doesn't make up for all the negative points.

very pleased with this hotel, the best i've ever stayed (and it's been over 10 in the last 2 months of traveling in many major US citys) the pool is great, all kinds of free things, there is close transportation, but it's best to go for a rental car (wich they have inside the hotel) because it's cheap and it helps a lot. i don't know if i can name a bad thing about this place, it's cheap, clean and fun, with all kind of free stuff, basicly all u can need...

near to lax airport, easy free shuttle service to lax and public transport... dorms small and crowded, but clean (fresh towels + linen daily) and with aircon.. lots of free stuff available + has a nice pool... would recommend this place for all travellers on a small budget!
