I arrived at the hostel to be told I would be in the building around the corner. This building had only dorms and bathrooms and all the other facilities were in the main building. It would have been good to be told beforehand that there were two buildings. Also the heating in my room was excessive we had to have the airconditioning on as well but in other dorms the heaters didn't work. One morning the fuse blew where the toaster was plugged in around 8am and when I left to go out at 10:30am it s

Jazz on the Park has a main building and a sleeping building just a block away. This is not a bad thing - except for the breakfast, if it is very cold outside. the hostel itself is decent, not the best I've been to, but definitely not the worst (see Jazz in Town - East Village) either. I would recommend it to a friend.
