In fact when I arrived to sun bright hostel I was moved to another hotel from the same company: Windsor hotel. I was unexpectedly clean and some of the staff were very polite. Just one bad point: on the website the taxes for the reservation weren't included, so paying the total amount due was a little bit higher.

Unfortunately, the sun bright hotel was booked full when we arrived, so they referred us to their friends at the WORLD HOTEL across the street for the same price. So here I have critiqued the world hotel. The hotel was great. The entrance steps looked like they were recently remodeled and were very welcoming. Bring your own shower footware. Ask for clean towels. Not always quiet at night, so bring ear plugs. Use only for sleep.

Central air conditioning may cause some questions. Everything else is easily explained - it's just hostel. But you still have your own space, bed, power outlet to charge your phone and notebook. And it's still on Manhattan!
