Great staff and character hostel! I would definitly stay in the same place if I went back to Mendoza. Loved the dogs: Astor and Bambina!

Great place to stay. Awesome employees, cool vibe, cheap beers and right next to the bus terminal.

Hostel Lao is world class!! Thanks to the excellent staff for all their assistance in helping me find Mendoza's best activities to partake in, and for the free tasty wine! I had an awesome tyme there.

Overall, this was a very good place to stay in Mendoza. It was a little too far from restaurants and bars in the main street but the staff and the hostel itself were very nice. The communal areas were very comfortable and made for a good environment to meet and chat with other travellers. The breakfast and bathrooms were OK. The dorms were quite spacious and equipped with lockers and air-conditioning. TIP: don´t be foolish and leave the window open - you will get eaten alive by mozzies. I
