Friendly and helpful staff, quiet after 10pm rule rigorously upheld, which was good for getting some sleep. Just don't expect anything exciting to happen, it's the least fun place I've ever stayed in.

OK place; guy who runs it is nice and friendly. It is pretty basic accom even for hostel; location is near far end of central park and quite far from central places like Times Square (NY has a good subway, though).

I really enjoyed my stay at the William Penn House. It is a small but very comfortable hostel. The breakfast that is included was good. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just 5 minutes to the Capitol. AIr-Condition in the whole hostel was pleasant.

quiet, small hostel located in an awesome location just 5 blocks from the capitol. enough bathrooms, very comfy beds, but not exactly a party place...

The place is ok. The location is 5 blocks from the metro station and quiet in night. I think the price is good for the place if you want to save some money in your travel.
