the only negative aspects of this hostel were no kitchen and rooms really really small!
but for the rest, the location is pretty nice and the social life of the hostel is very vivid! funny place to stay

Paid for internet and computer died in the middle. Told staff and came back later. There was no sign so I assumed it was fixed, but it took money and didn't work. Staff basically said it was not their problem and I had to call a "company" to get my money back.
Storage area cost money and I was told to pay upfront. Afterwards I found out that if I was staying there I did not need to pay. I was told I could just get a refund when I checked out later. When I did that I was again told that

-Only one out of four toilets in our floor working. Shared by male/female.
-The free breakfast consists of a blank onion-bagel with cheese-spread and a cup of cold water with a tea bag. Took long until all the people waiting for it finally got it.
-The stairs from the lobby to the rooms are protected by a locked doom which is a nice idea. However, one could also reach the stairs through the (dirty) party room.
-Heater in the room could not be turned off.
-Linen in bed was used.

We are nearing the completion of our bathroom remodel. The new restrooms feature more showers, new facilities, and an improved floor plan. Even during construction we make sure to keep more than enough restroom facilities in full working order, and all of our restrooms are gender specific, and labeled accordingly.
Every individual room is equipped with both air conditioning and a heater, as well as the option for fresh air by opening the window.
All our linens are washed and sanitized between each use.

Some things that should have worked didn't work, eg. security lockers or girls' bathroom on the 4th floor. There was also a lot of noise at night. But on the whole, it was all right for the price and the location is great. Eliska.

We had some issues while staying for two nights:
- Key cards didn't work, we had to reset them at reception every single time
- no bathroom on our floor due to construction, had to use one 2 levels down
- wifi didn't work (might be my notebook, might be their wifi), but after 5 minutes of fighting they let us use their computer at the reception to check mails
- no breakfast one day due to "missing keys"
- this one is a matter of taste, but i find showing "saw ii" on high volume in the lobby

Feel pretty neutral about this place. NOt the funnest part of town, but close to subway. Being near the park is great. Bathrooms don't have anywhere to get changed, and can get a little festy. Toilets only occasionally work. Can spend aaaaages waiting in line to check in some times... suspicious the staff are all stoned.
