Got a sleep partner? Try to get a bed in "the van." Trust me... This is one of the coolest looking places I've been to. Lots of character. Beware, the two-person "private" room isn't really private since the door doesn't close all the way. Of course, that's probably why it doesn't cost any more than the rest...

Was a really good place to stay. I was happy with the lady who worked there. Everyone was extremely happy. Place was clean very secure as our rooms had locks. All in all very happy with the place. One thing that was interesting is I booked for two people and maybe I filled out the reservation wrong but it was assumed we were a couple and they gave us one queen bed rather than two beds. Thankfully we were ok with sharing a bed. But I would definitely recommend the place to others as well as go

Excellent pricing but it is not the tidy place ever

The people are friendly, but the place is crapy, rooms are sooo small and with filthy odour...they gave us a room without a window. I have been to many hostels over the world, but I don't recommend this place for anyone

For my first time at a hostel, I thought it was positive. I met a lot of great people, the location was great, the place---cute and bohemian, and the staff very helpful.I highly recommend the place.

I liked the place, the location is excellent for those who want to shop, have a nice time at a bar or visit touristic places. The people from the hostel are very friendly. Breakfast is great and the best of it is that you can have it anytime in the morning.

Stayed there for one night and found that not every room had a lock on the door. As well, the place looks pretty dingy even though the price is unbeatable. However, the people there are really nice. If you're looking for supercheap accomodation and don't mind leaving your stuff lying around during the day as you explore Montreal, then this might be the perfect place for you!
