This place is top notch, not just the hostel, the nieghborhood, the city....you get the idea. The Hostel was exceptional HI really has their stuff together always and everywhere so call that a brand endorsement if you wish.

The staff members are all super helpful and kind. The hostel is well located--a short walk to shopping and restaurants. There's also a good coffee shop right across the street. I'd stay here again.

It was awesome. They gave me pizza for free everyday night. Also, location is nearby downtown Portland. It takes just 15 min by walk.

Very clean and well-kept hostel. Good quiet location, a few blocks from the streetcar that takes you downtown for free. Within walking distance of pubs, a grocery store, and a brew and view movie theater.
Don't expect a wild party hostel here - its definitely quiet after hours, and attracts many families and older folks, and fewer loud younger backpacker types.
